The battery is at the foot of the bed between the mattress and the footboard. I had a hell of a time trying to "Zoom" in on it myself .

I agree this is a fun game, but there is a difference between a game where you have to use logic to figure stuff out, and a game where you have to figure out where to click to make stuff happen. I hope the next room will be easier to navigate.

wow guys... you are sad. This game is so easy it took me 15 minutes to solve. Just be patient.

ok guide to everything about beating this game

1. Look in bowl on the desk for the thin ring

2. Open the yellow curtain and take the key thats sitting on the bottom of the window.

3. Open and close the yellow curtain about 5 times or so until the screen shifts to the floor and get the other ring.

4. Look at the bed. Click the pillow so that it lifts up to get another key.

5. While the pillow is floating, click on the line where the mattress meets the yellow to get the metal rod.

6. Go to the blank wall and click on the floor at the bottom left. you must click on the purple part.This gets you the battery.

7. Use the keys that fit with the locked yellow drawers to get electric cord and red box.

8. Select the power cord and click on the cd player on the desk.

9. click the power button, open disk slot and take out key.

10. Click on the shadow under the yellow desk to ficd cassette.

11. Select red box and put the two rings and the metal rods into their respective holes.

12. Open box and insert battery and cassette. click on the screen on the bow to view a movie.

13. When the guy points to the "+" keep the mouse there until the movie ends. Once its over click on the spot on the wall 3 times.

14. Click square on wall 2 open up the safe.

15. Click until 1994 is displayed and use the key in the keyhole to open safe.

16. take screw driver and click on the door knob until you see a side view of it.

17. use screw driver on knob.. yay u won...

I accomplished the task a few days ago(loved the game) and have emailed some friends with the task to try and escape....HOWEVER...
The Clue on the page that is found (for safe code) is not a complete link. How do I give them a clue?...I was smart enuff to look up cheats(that's what brought me here...hehe) but not everyone will think of that. What to do

I have the safe opened and I see the darn screwdriver, but when I click on it, it brings me back to the stupid CD player and does not pick the screwdriver up. It's quite frustrating here at the end, anyone???

i beat this game in about 10 minutes, man u guys are slow.

some helpfull hints:
to find the other ring: click on the space underneath the yellow curtain, eventually, it will say that something dropped from the curtain.

to find the battery: go to the wall with no furniture, and click frantically on the left hand side, near the bottom

Okay here is a complete walktrough, but I'm my english sucks and I don't know all the words


1. Click on the yellow table
2. Take the items out of the top 2 drours
3. Click on the glass plate and take the ring
4. Click on the shadow of the table and take the tape
5. Go to the bed, click on the pillow and take the key
6. Click on the end of the matress and take the metal stick
7. Go to the window and click on the curtain
8. Take the key
9. Click on top of the cutain and take the ring that fell
10. Go back to the table and open the last 2 drours
11. Take both items and click on the CD player
12. Click on the power cord and on the CD player
13. Turn on the power and open the disc tray

15. Click on the left-down corner (Try this until you see a battery next to the bed)

all you guys who keep posting messages saying things like "i finished the game in 5 minutes, im so smart, your so dumb" are the bigest idiots i've ever met. this is a challenging game not only in the stratagy involved, but also the programming of the game so dont give me all that bullshit about finishing the game in 5 minutyes because 1. not everyone who isnt logically minded is stupid. and 2. type of computer and time and website of gameplay affects the performance of the player too.

the really rocks but the combination is hard to find my cousin helped and told me that the combination was 1994 but it still didnt work

The first time I tried the Crimson Room, I got stuck on 10 items, gave up after 30 minutes or so. Next day I tried again, stumbled onto a non-standard escape method. I now have a foolproof way to escape using only 2 items, and without opening the safe.
