The Aussi evangelist is a moron, but Dawkins could have answered his question about whether we can 'see' evolution in progress or not. Despite most evolutionary processes taking thousands or millions of years to show their effects, one area where it happens much more quickly is in bacteria and viruses. Many viruses have evolved so fast over the last 50 years that they have become resistant to most or all of our anti-biotic drugs. So there's your proof of evolution one can 'see' Mr Evangelist.
