Not Working?
The Mythbusters compared a CPU vs a GPU and the GPU drew a Mona Lisa drawing using paint balls in 80 nanoseconds.

The emphasis on "actual" got my hopes up for something a little less. . . pixelly. Still cool, though.

the slow-mo shot at the end is very cool looking.

Re: Mythbusters Draw a Mona Lisa is 80 Nanoseconds
So this actually had nothing at all to do with Nvidia or computer processing and was just an array of paintballs shot with some high-pressure tanks into a pre-defined pattern?
Lame.

If they had synchronised the firing of the tubes would we see the image travelling through the air? The first 'Painting in Transit'...

Re: Mythbusters Draw a Mona Lisa is 80 Nanoseconds
Paintballs traversing 7 feet in 80 nanoseconds would be going at 9% the speed of light and would produce an enormous sonic boom that would have made Jamie and Walrusman go deaf.
But yeah, 80 ms and 80 ns are like basically the same.
