And then somebody poked a stick into the anthill ...
You know what's funny: if you annoy real ants with a stick, they always attack the stick and eventually your hand and legs. They just don't travel all the way across the patio, the flower beds, lawn, pond, hedge, street, hedge, lawn (evading sprinklers this time), house, lawn, street, park, to emerge onto the beach, to bite bathers and tear stranded jellyfish apart. No, real ants never do that. Strange, isn't it?
