Wrong, comrade. There are some generalizations that are clearly more true than not. Saying that all males are walking hard-ons is a prime example. Anyone with a penis knows this.

This does explain a lot, though. When I was in Hawaii, the Japanese tourist girls were so timid that you couldn't even begin to talk to most of them. The local girls, however, seemed to walk around with their labia flapping in the breeze.

There is a peculiar lack of playful euphemisms for "labia" in particular, while the entire vagina enjoys a great many names.

I think the interesting point here is that while Pornography and the naked body is generally accepted in Japan most Japanese don't have a lot of sex. Partially because of the drive for success in business school and other things. While it is true that the Japanese may have sex at a young age they are less like to have sex as much as westerners do. Yes you can get all you want in Tokyo but not everyone lives there. I enjoyed the BBC series Japanarama's take on Sex in Japan.
