The French CG student film Oktapodi has been winning all sorts of awards this year including the “Best Animation” prize at the Imagina Awards 2008 and "Best of Show" at Siggraph 2008.

It’s directed by Julien Bocabeille, FX Chanioux, Olivier Delabarre, Thierry Marchand, Quentin Marmier and Emud Mokhberi.

Music doesn't work. Another (lower quality version, at YouTube) does have sound. Your call. Anyway, I mightily enjoyed this animation. Thanks for submitting.

Quality work- when ever I see stuff from siggraph I hope that a new era of animation is at our doorstep. Disney's peak has come and gone and its time for something new.
