the special edition gargles my balls.

I'm not a violent man.
That being said, I think I should make it clear that I've given this some thought, and I'm prepared to take any consequences that would come if I ever met George Lucas, because I would reel back and punch right in the face. And, as his bodyguards dragged me away, I'd yell, "He knows what he did! ...He knows!"

Re: Star Wars Classic and Special Edition
I loved the Star Wars trilogy, but Lucas really took a piss on it with his lousy production choices. His days of great film making are about as dead Darth Vader's robot dick (assuming the Emperor thought to give him one).
Such a disappointment the special editions and prequels were. It's clear that Lucas no longer cares to tell a good story; he just wants the cash and his name in large font.
There is so much about the prequels that didn't work: the misuse/overuse of the CGI, Saturday morning cartoon quality writing, Jar Jar Binks, too many bright colors, gaping plot holes, overacting Anakin... etc.
My observation is that Lucas thinks that the best thing for the franchise is to market heavily to kids. So thus, it's all like one big kiddie flick. Which was a dumb way to do it because most Star Wars fans have grown up... and kids will like anything is cool so long as there are enough explosions.
However, i did like that the bad guys won in the end of the prequels. That was nice.
