Yeah, but they inject their "morality" and religious fervor into the laws that govern ME. I'd be fine if the people that were idiots kept to themselves, but the thing is that they put their idiocy onto the rest of us, in our public school systems (I.D. v Evolution) and government (gay marriage, drug war, anti-sodomy laws). That's the real problem.

Really, he's talking to the non-idiots and potentially-near-future-non-idiots here. Unfortunately, the hardcore-forever-idiots find these videos too. He could have a similarly high-quality snarky rant about saggy pants and sideways ball caps, or mullets and little cell phone blinky-light thingies hanging off of people's ears.

But somehow ruthlessly criticizing people's bad taste in fashion doesn't generate hate mail with quite the same garment-rending fervor. And as Mark Twain says, "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence in society." On the other hand, religious people with fancy hats have tremendous influence in society.
