McCain campaign hides secret of Iraq surge "success" (Pt 1)

Re: Surging McCain
I can't believe there are no comments here.

You know, if we let this situation fester the way we have for the past five and a half years, we can just build a wall and create a three state solution, leaving Kurdistan (pissing off Turkey, our NATO ally), the bulk of Iraq in control of the Shia (ally of Iran) and the Sunnis with no oil revenues.

I tell you what. How about we leave judgement to a man who has been against the Iraqi invasion since the start and has a better vision than "the surge is working"? I'm just sayin'.

Yeah, I was sort of trying to come up with something worthy to say after having watched it. Sometimes I leave a comment such as 'excellent' if I really like a post, but what does that add, I wonder. ***** should say enough. Anyway, for the record, excellent reporting.

Quagmire accomplished!
I'm still waiting for these guys to explain what the objectives are in their war. What are they trying to accomplish? When do they get to say they've won their war? (As I recall, they already kinda did.)

Re: Quagmire accomplished!
A pity none of us went or is going to Mars during the Bush II years; I would have liked to know at what moment Mr. Prez decided to unfurl a huge MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! MAN ON THE MOON! banner and display it on a long pole on the White House's front lawn. Do you think he'd do that just before the rocket left Earth or after it blew up somewhere in the stratosphere? Or do you think he'd do so when on all television screens of the world the images of Mars and a lone astronaut landing on its surface are clearly visible, but the astronaut is saying "Goddamn, I finally made it to this darn rock," a bloody tampon floating around inside her helmet?
