That was $200 a year, not month. So more or less what we pay now, except that the speeds then were insanely slow compared to todays standards. (I remember the line: "Wow! A 28.8kpbs modem!" from around 1997.)

Yay :) GO CANADA! Peter Mansbrige is the man! So smart. Did you know that he's a collage (university) dropout? Perhaps proof that you really don't need post-secondary education to succeed.

Well, alot of people say beauty is only skin deep but I prefer to think that is a lie. All he probably did was a tafe (australian equiv. of a community college) diploma in comms. Oh, and college is with an "e". Perhaps you would have known that if you went.

I loved this story, but even back then those anonymous people were not as universally nice as the man with the rose colored glasses seems to indicate.
