15# Looks like what's living in my daughters bedroom for the past week.
Re: Finger Sized Creatures
You make it sound like there's some spider involved, Griff. By the way, all the best to the little critter (and its brothers, sisters, and parents).
Re: Finger Sized Creatures
It's a vole or a field mouse come in from the garden we get them quit often in the summertime. They come in to play hide 'n' seek.
Re: Finger Sized Creatures
Oh, then please do one thing. Give it a saucer of water and some cheese. Otherwise it will die, and your daughter will some day find a shriveled something behind one of her closets. Better yet, place a live trap or whatever those things are called. Don't kill it. Imagine you're that mouse (or vole), all alone except for some huge monsters stamping around during the day. No food, no water. A fellow living creature in a strange land. Have I convinced you yet?
Re: Finger Sized Creatures
Sure I'll give it some water and cheese. I'll also cook it a steak with side salad!
I'm thinking of investing in a humane mouse trap, the ones with the extra sharp guillotine.. It cuts through flesh like a knife through butter.. Just kiddin' it's more than welcome to stay, if it can fight off my daughters two rats.

Plenty stuff goin' on there, I see.
On a side note, I had rats once. They ripped the wallpaper off the walls. Damn smart creatures. They had almost invented flight (they used the wallpaper for ultralight bombers).
