Most of what he says would only happen in a perfect world.. we don't live in a perfect world.

There's also the issue of sickness. I've been sick and suicidal. My sickness is under control now and I'm not suicidal anymore for more than five minutes at a time on rare occasions. Sometimes, it is a permanent solution to temporary problems. But I wouldn't expect anyone who hasn't been there, who hasn't been hospitalized (truly, county mental health is the worst place I've been) to know what that's like. Fucking sucks, man. If anyone suicidal's reading this, for some of us, it does get better. Oh, and quitting the drugs was a really good idea for me.
