For those of you who REALLY don't know how the trick is done, he mentions that you have to shuffle from the top because the bottom card is blue with a bit of adhesive on it. So when you stick the bottom card on the card you chose, it looks like it's blue now.
Two cards, at even the distance of a table away, looks exactly the same as one card.
