Bugs Bunny: Hair-Raising Hare
<< Now Hear This
|
One Froggy Evening >>
An evil scientist lures Bugs Bunny to his lair as dinner for his equally evil, hairy red monster.
Hair-Raising Hare, RT 7:29, is a 1946 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon, released in 1946. It was directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese. It stars Bugs Bunny and features the first appearance of Chuck Jones' imposing red monster character, unnamed here, but in later cartoons named "Rudolph" and then "Gossamer".

Re: Bugs Bunny: Hair-Raising Hare
Thanks so much for posting this!
This is truly one of my favorites! I won't take up space listing the great lines, but I will take a moment to blame Chuck Jones for my lifelong insistence that monsters are cute - it's the people who are scary! (He's right ya know...)
