I hope he's successful. He won't be though because of the assessment these powerful people make of the american people is correct: they are gullible and will believe anything we tell them. They also think that they are better than all of you.

Once Bush, Cheney and Rummsfeld have been convicted, its time to go after the 10's of thousands of U.S. soldiers who volunteered to obey orders and actually carry out those murders. Remember, the Nuremburg trials established that lower ranking officers and enlistees cannot defer culpability for war crimes to their superior officers since they were only carrying out orders.
Someone is pulling the triggers and dropping the bombs that are killing the Iraqis, and it aint George Bush. There are no excuses, everyone who has participated in the invasion and occupation of Iraq have followed orders to carry out war crimes.
Also, dont forget the hundreds-of-thousands of Iraqi security forces who signed up to fight alongside the Americans, and even take orders from them. They are merely collaborators to a genocide of their own people. Right?

Technically he hasn't murdered anyone.
You could prosecute him for conspiring for murder but even then there is so much bueracracy between him and the actual troops that the diffusion of responsibility would be too great for the court.

Yeah, it'd be more likely that he would be tried for war crimes in international court than for murder in our own courts. Even then, it seems dubious that they would succeed. Better to focus on improving things for the future isn't it?
