Leap the Dips at Lakemont Park
This is a ride-along video on Leap The Dips at Lakemont Park, PA. It is a side friction rollercoaster and the oldest functioning rollercoaster in the world (built in 1902).

Re: Leap the Dips at Lakemont Park
A side friction roller coaster has no "up-stop" wheels to hold it down onto the track. That means they actually "leap" off of the track, if they go fast enough. So even though that coaster doesn't appear to go more than ten miles an hour the whole time, it's still able to instill a fear of death in its riders.
