It’s such a pleasure viewing the illustrations of Arizona-based Chiara Bautista aka Milk. Her style and choice of imagery (among other things) suggests this is lowbrow art, but it overlaps with fetish in a very unique and subtle way. Seemingly, each and every character she creates is wrapped up in a world of sorrowful emotions or curiosities. Those expressions, along with her illustrative sensibility make for some very intriguing and highly original artwork.
