What *is* newsworthy is the cop pointing at the thief through the car window and yelling "Hey! You wanna get tazed!?"
Yes, Mr. Officer. I want to die in your back seat from a tazer because you're too much of a pussy to open the car door and subdue my handcuffed ass yourself.
When the suspect is handcuffed and locked in the back of a squad car, it's -not- the right time to use the damn tazer.

Looked like his feet were pretty free to kick anybody who opened the door. I guess you'd rather a cop get kicked in the face or have to fist fight that punk crybaby instead. Yeah...he should settle down and STFU or get his ass tazed.

Why are you sympathizing with this criminal? Clearly hes getting physically violent and threatening to harm property and others around him.
So why not taze him?
You want the officer to "subdue" him by restraining him until his temper calms down. Couldn't that be potentially just as dangerous?

From what I could kinda tell from the editing. It showed a guy taking a picture of him probably some press, hot on the scene
cuz there was news reports about the game coming out that day anyways, and this looked like a nice break for the press to get a good story about a violent video game release and the people"imitating" the game's actions
god I hate the media
The suspect got angry that the guy/press was out the window taking pictures of his face(you can hear him say tell him to stop tell him to stop) as if he didn't already screw up enough already he was gonna be front page. after he got pinched. He was cuffed and couldn't do much to avoid getting his pic taken. Seems like the media just used his out burst towards the picture taker and camera crew, so he freaked out and kicked and spit at some reporter getting in his face ... paparazzi and celeberties do the same all day lol but really The guy is guilty he got greedy and violent, he did deserve to be arrested and all that. Just another weak point for people to make arguments about violence in video games.

so the guy grabs $145 worth of video games, one just happens to be GTA4 and suddenly everything is about how video games affect behaviour ? wtf, the guy could of had mario kart in the $145 selection he grabbed, doesn't mean he's gonna start throwing banana skins or bombs out the back of his car does it ?
