Nice find. Always brightens my day to see a CBC video on the Milk.

Re: The Christian Right Vs. the USA
This really is one of my growing concerns and I'm glad to see someone step forward about it and say that this problem exists with extreme Christians. It is definitely bordering fascism and at times makes me want to leave the country. I stick it out in hopes this group of fundies will fall to the way side but the sad thing is that now televangelicals have also infiltrated Europe and are trying to force things to happen there too. They better deal with them sooner than we have or else they will have people believing the moon casts its own glow.

iam concerned but its a bit too easy to point at the folk at the fringe of the political scale and cry wolf.
abortion is still legal and there is no prayer in public school...thats the barometer of the rejection of extreme religion dogma.

Re: The Christian Right Vs. the USA
It angers me to hear someone saying "creationism" is just a ploy to devoid science. Maybe with some it is, but not me. Science may be more valid than creationism, but that doesn't mean religiion and science are enemies. The writings in the bible actually support science (today), which is rather amazing considering how many athiest scientists there are out there supporting their ideas. I will never be against questioning anything, but I only have hope that logic will remain strong when it comes to the science/religion debate. I have questioned religion too, and I even think that Jesus (if he was really gods son), was a shit. The president of the united states said (esentially) the same thing as Jesus. "You are with us or against us." Hate to paraphrase Star Wars here, but, absolutes are of evil minds. Jesus fits this mold unfortunately when he said things like "You must accept me". That is an absolute. We were given free will, yet we must accept this absolute for eternal salvation.
