Are pesticides taking their toll on species that we do not want to infect? Just a theory.

It's the disappearance of certain plant species that's causing many bees to say goodbye as well. Plants go extinct or become ever rarer due to various reasons. Bees in 'captivity' (the European Honey Bee, most of all) are declining because of bad care, I think: if beekeepers take pretty much all the golden stuff (the result of the bees’ hard labor) and replace it with cheap sugar as a substitute food, the bees become weak and therefore susceptible to parasites and diseases.
