God Cares about Us! a Lot!!
Yes, good and bad things seem to happen to people at random. Almost like God doesn't care. If the Bible didn't say otherwise, I might be tempted to think our loving Father in Heaven didn't even exist.

God ENOUGH with this guy already. I am an atheist and believe in telling people so but please, this guys cheesy sarcasm and pathetic excuse for transparent satire are enough to gag a grizzly bear. His message is cliche at best, his tone unbearable, and his argument lacking anything new, PLEASE stop encouraging this guy, stop posting him and force him to come up with something clever. PALLEEEEZ

Agreed on some level, however, his transparent satire is needed.
On each of his videos there are at least a dozen (if not three dozen) people who don't see through the sarcasm and take Edward's words to heart.
What may be transparent to you is not to those who have had the doctrine shoved down their throats since childhood and frankly, if a youtube video of a sarcastic atheist with the basic and mundane message of religion is laughably contradictory/ridiculous can make a few religion-abused people question their "faith", than he should be entitled to make all the videos he can.
Also, if you can come up with a "new" argument against religion, I'd love to hear it.

Its not so much that the argument needs to be new, although i can definitely go there, having had a christian upbringing for 18 years, but rather the way he presents it. I doubt any religious people are swayed by his words but rather feel a huge contempt for Current and are then further steeped into their faith.
As for the argument, there are innumerable topics that can be discussed as per the sheer volume of debatable information in religious texts. To simply regurgitate old philosophical debates that were spoken for and against by minds much greater than you, I or Current is to do disservice to them and detract from the real points that are there.
In addition, he makes himself a focal point of hatred by the religious, but not in the good way like Dawkins or Hitchins. Those men have carefully evaluated and educated statements that are harder to refute, Current on the other hand makes statements that are easily rebutted from the religious standpoint, maybe not accurately so, but rebutted nonetheless.

I think you're forgetting that because you're part of the choir, you're not getting the full impact of Edward's satire.
I agree that he is just spouting classic arguments against the really-old-book and there's not much thought behind them but at least the thought that IS behind them is getting out to a relatively large audience.
Also, Dawkins and Hitchens have highly sophisticated arguments that take intellect and insight to fully comprehend. Current's take virtually none at all, and you know how little the religious public enjoys intellect and insight.
