Pavarotti Commercial
We had Pavarotti on a fixed camera for 30 minutes and only needed him to read a script. He kept changing the script as he went along, however, and we ended up with nothing but outtakes. As the copywriter of record, I worked with my creative director Joe Kilgore and art director Dave Newkirk at Ogilvy & Mather in Houston to create a pieced-together version that added humor to the situation.
