Each year, in September and October a small Ukrainian town of Uman in the couple hundred kilometers from Kiev becomes a place of pilgrimage orthodox Jews. Proponents of one of the branches of Judaism Bratslavskie Hassidim on the eve of the Jewish New Year go to the grave of his defensive Nahmana teachers. They are mainly Orthodox from Israel and the United States. At twenty thousand population increases small town in which alone talk about pilgrims.
