The american presidents and the CIA knew Saddam was a dictator and a mass killer, they only did something against him when their interests werethreated.

What's especially funny is that the news always reports how Saddam used chemical agents against his own people -If you go back and read, you see that they were not his peeps, and at the time, we said um no, you can't do that, but immediately afterwards sold him another 600 helicopters, while we were funding Iran as well... Get it, Iran Contra, Ollie North, Reagan with Alzheimer's....
