Heh. Colbert has some mangled real German in there... what he's actually saying/trying to say, among other things: "Today Germany, tomorrow the whole world", and "That's bad" as the very last line. Weird.

Unfortunately, the most frequent teachers of german are nazis in films that say few more things than "SCHNELL, SCHNELL!" ("QUICK, QUICK!"), "PAPIERE!" ("PAPERS!") and "REIN, RAUS!" ("IN, OUT!").
Ah well, i liked the humour in Conan O'Brien's "Stackenblocken" better, it was more over the top.

yeah, you're right. d'ya know where I can find that stuff from Conan? By the way: i find it also a bit weird that americans always know sentences like the "today germany..." nazi quotes...in diesem sinne...glückauf
