This is the best quality I could find of this video and I can tell you that it is MUCH more impresive if you see it on a bigger screen and at a higher quality. I downloaded it off of a p2p network and was amazed.

Looks like a three man visual element:
One on the set, one just behind him, and the third facing backwards on the Gong and Tam Tam.
Splitting the drum parts between person1 and person2 would be tricky, but its very doable.
The part is all repetitive right-hand sticking.

I hope we can get the other Chris Cunningham/Aphex Twin videos up here. This one's the worst by far...and it still is sweet.

Chris cunningham is a movie clip genius. I've heard he was planing doing a full movie. It's just rumors, but if it's true, then damn! can't wait to see a proper movie made by that guy.
I think his last movie clip will feature Squarepusher. I've heard they're curently working together. Gonna be good shit too.

Sp right, but I also like the 5 minutes intro where the 2 guys are b**chin' with the b**ches. Then Aphex entering the screen in a Tex Avery way :)
All the Aphex Twin's videos are fun, and so are Chris Cunningam's. He got a "Works of director" DVD released, it's kinda cool. With most of his clip, Bjork's "All is full of love", Leftfield's "Africa Shox", Squarepusher's "Come to my selector", various advertisements he did.. it's great to watch.

If it's a six armed monkey, what's he playing the center high hat with? Um, is that his monkey weewee?
That was a pretty cool video but it's just a visualization that was made to sync with the music which was all done on drum machine. The illusion is cool (and I liked the monkey head movements) but the visualization did not by far represent everything that was going on in the music.

it's obviously better viewed in fullscreen on dvd quality. so you have a better view on the details and get a closer look on things moving.
