I was amazed by this post, so I looked into it. And from all accounts, this inventions kept Herzstark alive. And, I imagine a man clever enough to think of something like this while surrounded by Nazi guard dogs would also be clever enough to make just enough progress on it so he could live out the war, but not get in trouble for taking his time. Very impressive. Very eenterestink.
