George Carlin: Back in Town, Entire Show
George Carlin's tenth HBO special, RT 1:02:49. It dates back to 1996 and it follows his previous special 40 Years of Comedy, which was recorded earlier that year. "Back In Town" targeted everything abortion, to the death penalty, prison farms, fart jokes, free floating hostility and his old chestnut of Language, and was also perhaps his first of many performances at the Beacon Theater in New York City.
He was 59 at the time of this performance, the last HBO special he recorded before his wife died of cancer just shy of his 60th birthday.
