Who's dumber-- Bush or the American people for reelecting him? I just am so sad that we had this moron in the White House for eight painful years. The damage has been done, and now it's time to start the salvaging process...

I'm with movieman here. I truly think he had the right intentions in everything he did, he is just an idiot surrounded by warmongers like Cheney giving him advice. And another thing, would you idiots stop with the Hitler references. Why is it that anytime someone wants to say you are bad they jump to a Hitler reference. Stop. It's not even close and you are trivializing the true horrors that Hitler created.

What's wrong with the Hitler reference? I work for a company HQ'ed in Germany and it's not taboo to mention.
No other US president has ever hijacked the US Constitution like this guy has. And while I dislike the reference to him as a dope (because it lets him off the hook too easily), he isn't exactly the sharpest knife that's quacking on his way out. He got his way. Some other administration will need to deal with Iraq instead of his facing the music. He thinks his legacy will be better off and history will be kinder to him. I say, he's grasping at straws.
