Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
Watch these Creationists indoctrinate kids.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
That's fair enough, they can do what they like. I'm off to Kennedy Space Center to learn about the fake moon landings.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
for a second there I thought you were serious then I was oh right sarcasm.
Yeah its kinda sick what evangelicals and the like do in America, luckily I don't live anywhere near that sorta stuff but don't see it, ever. But I do feel for all you people who have to put up with this ignorant BS.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
I dont think the word "ignorant" is in my bill of rights!
Let me check...
http://www.consource.org/consource/files/manuscriptpages/IMAGEFILENAME/000000002135/Bill_of_Rights_Pg1of1_AC.pdf
Ctrl+f "ignorant"
no results found.
"They" are not allowed to be ignorant, but it is mandatory that the ignorant are tolerated.
(i.e. you dont have to respect me, but you do have to let me have my space to say retarded shit. P.S. you dont have to be there to listen to me.)

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
It is especially weak of them to target young children, they can easily be indoctrinated to believe this stuff.
And these kids don't see the crooked stuff they're telling. They're saying there is no proof for evolution, come on read a book about it, there are thousands of them, you can even study a lifetime and still you wouldn't know everything we already know about evolution. But oh no, it's all a lie because it is not in the book and we don't have to prove anything in the bible because that's not the way the bible works.
Please someone, start a tour in the creation museum telling the school kids that everything they tell is wrong.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
If I weren't thousands of miles away and had a few spare hundred dollars, I would certainly take you up on the Creation museum tours idea. Seen as how they love quirky acronyms, I would call it EYWTKAEBWTITLUY (Everything you wanted to know about evolution but were too ignorant to look up yourself) Tours.
And then I would get real, wholesome Public School Educated kids who DON'T get to watch Veggie Tales during lunch hour to parade around their museum and criticize their "artwork".
BAH humbug.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
The thought is tempting, but I wouldn't support that Creationist museum with my money. The whole thing should be shut down. In fact, how can that museum exist at all? Doesn't it violate some tax laws or something?

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
Pay them in rocks.
Tell them REAL Biblical Christians don't use "money" because it's not in the bible.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
What proof? Are you referring to peppered moth or have you actually read anything in the past 30 years? Please, be my guest and give me a proof. I am so eagerly waiting.
Have some fun and look up irreducible complexity, DNA sequencing probabilities or simply look up the LAW of Entropy. Oh yeah, do consider that it is a open system, re-evaluate it and then what happens when you shine light on an open system.
Nothing personal of course, I just happen to be one of those ignorant people you refer to. Obviously you probably aren't familiar with any of this because you wouldn't be bothered to speak with any of those evil people who target young children.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
I was unaware of that link, which happens to be quite recent, as well. Strange that it escaped all mods' attention, and got no votes at all. I remember noticing the title, though, and checking out other videos. Afterward, I had forgotten about it.
Anyway, technically speaking, this one is more complete (and can therefore be considered unique, I hope).

No problem.. The link was unclaimed, unmoderated and unvoted. ;-)

Isn't it wrong for Christians to lie? Guess not.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
These Creationists don't understand science or evolution but even worse is the fact that they don't even understand their own bibles and what is (or isn't) written in them. So, what does that make them? Idiots.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
That does it. Im taking a group of kids to THEIR church and Im going to.. well im just going to make them sit through the sermon and come up with their own conclusions. After we will go to the museum. (and then after that we will have cake and punch)

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
It breaks my heart to see those kids so emphatical about this kind of thing. They are so young. They will only grow up to resent their parents. (for a bit, then they will feel sorry for them.)

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
So....why do you think they are wrong? I mean, the carbon dating display on the wall to the left is basically bunk. The fossil dating the rock and the rock dating the fossil is basically how the scientist overcome "non-conformity" (look it up) issues with the fossil layer not agreeing with evolutionary gradualism. So whats your issue? You really think the schools are teaching anything less than fairy tales when they drive evo down kids throats. They don't even get their rhetoric right. "The porcupine evolved bristles to protect itself from predators" my arse! The majority of you over self righteous, arrogant, creationist bashers don't even know what the theory states, where it has gone or even how to refer to it. I am so over you people acting all smart when you haven't spent the time and energy to even understand the very theory that you put so much FAITH in. Do you even know what gradualism means and how important it is to evolution and how it doesn't happen? No, I thought not. Cheers!

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
I like how those "tourguides" say to those kids that the expeditions are artwork and fairytale. Sure, Jesus walked on water and 800-year old Noah gathered animals from all over the world in to a boat. It must be true!!! And dude, when you say you may be wrong with the fact that it was about 1000 years from Adam and Eve to Noah, yep you may even be.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
I lived in Atlanta GA two years ago, and there we constant trials and lawsuits to remove evolution and or to introduce "creation science" into schools. It wouldn't bother me if the people who hated evolution so much could understand what they were arguing against. But that would be too much I suppose.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
It's also possible that abc misread it as half of the people believe there are some flaws to evolution, not that creation is the correct theory.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
just to point out one detail... if people lived to be on average 800 years old and there were 7 generations, that wouldn't be 5600 years. most people don't procreate on their deathbed. in fact, in genesis 5, it states that most of them had their sons around 80 years old.
nonetheless, i'm a firm christian and think this "biblically correct" tour is sketchy.

Check out the cute little girl at 3:01, she was thinking for herself then changed her mind, excellent.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
I couldn't find any little girl at 3:01 or -3:01.
But the funniest joke in the video is from 7:56 to 8:02. I sprayed milk out my nose when I saw that girl's hand gestures!

Fuck creationist are bloody stupid. They should be mocked and ridiculed, not given an opportunity to retard new generations of Americans. Absolutely ridiculous.

I think it's time for fundy ass holes like these to be executed .... jk of course ..
They're dangerous and they are taking advantage of the young minds of children. They should be considered as child abusers.

Re: Creationist Lunacy Invades Science Museum
"They date the layer by the fossil and the fossil by the layer and the layer by the fossil. What kind of reasoning is that, by the way?"
Kinda like how the Bible is the autobiography of God. "'How do you know?' Let's try it again. 'How do you know?'"
But the museum has a radiometric dating exhibit. Oops, out of time.
What a piece of "artwork". They're clearly a couple of "biblically correct" homosexuals. Guess which is the pitcher and catcher.
