We Are Here: The Pale Blue Dot
The further back you get, the less meaningful mankinds accomplishments seem to be...
A short movie by David Fu based on Carl Sagan's reading of his "A Pale Blue Dot".
The music, "Stop Coming To My House", is by Mogwai from their album "Happy Songs for Happy People".

Great Video. This is one of them that really make you think. We think we are so great, we are so powerful, but in reality we are just a point of light, a loney pix.

Re: We Are Here: The Pale Blue Dot
I just watched this on the last minute of the last hour of my 27th birthday, and I cried.
Carl Sagan was a gift, and Fu does a masterful job wrapping his message to us in some very memorable imagery.
Thanks for posting this.

Better. No stupid movie footage. Just space. Carl lives on.

Yes, I'm with you - why movie footage, as opposed to images of reality? What does Reservoir Dogs contribute to the message?
It's a lonelier life without Carl Sagan around.
