Complete and utter bullshit. Where's the Metal? You wanna talk intense riffs, you're gonna be looking at a list that's at least 75% metal bands. And even if you just want "interesting riffs" at least half this list was shit I was shown how to do the first week I was learning guitar. Smoke on the water?? That's about as inspired as Jingle Bells lol.

I've gotta disagree with a lot of these... most of these are just the first licks you desperately try to nail when you first start playing, and they are usually way overplayed
Secondly, I'm pretty sure the Green Day song is way to similar to the song "25 or 6 To 4" by Chicago
