Why Do People Laugh at Creationists? Ep.11
Episode 11. The author looks at the claim of a Creationist that Noah took all the critters with nostrils on the Ark and that the sea at the time of the Flood (4,400 years ago) was fresh and not salt. Finally, he attempts to make sense of a claim that one must repent to counteract the dead soul inherited from Adam and Eve due to eating the forbidden fruit, lest one remain separated from God forever.

I've watch most of these because I do like the debate going on between creationsists and scientists. I just hate it when the narrator says that the religionist guy lacks scientific knowledge. Science is the study of the physical world, you can't scientifically prove God, although I believe that He can be proven...subjectively. In my lifetime I have personally experienced God. I can not prove this to anyone else because it is only within me that I felt him. I believe everyone is capable to experiencing Him (not necesarrily the dad of Jesus God,) except they can only do so with having a desire. This narrator will never have such a fulfilling experience because of his ignorant ways.

I believe in God as well but you have missed the point here. It has never been about proving whether or not there is a God. It is about contradiction and lack of knowledge. In a earlier one the creationist says the genes for bigness are gone then cuts to how some guy is growing huge fish in a tank at home. Or the part where one element can't change into another even though we know thats what fusion does and the sun is proof. Most of the arguments made are like this. Its going back to the days of when it thundered that was God bowling in the sky.
Also on a side note the concept of original sin has always seems like a raw deal to me. Its a case of I'm getting thrown in jail because my Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandpa stole a horse and killed someone.

If God made the universe then God should understand basic science. ;-)

I find these quite entertaining as well but the point is often missed by the audience and sometimes the creators. Whether you want to believe in a God of any type is your decision, and I personally think it should be a very intimate personal exploration. Unfortunately, modern Creationists and the like are trying to undermine science and prove their own view of God so as to influence others to join in their cause.
To me this isn't about spirituality but control. The stories in the Bible should not be taken literally as they were taken from oral histories and modified through many variations. Even the moral lessons, which exist on a higher abstract level of conception, are sometimes in need of modern rejuvenation. Evolution isn't evil, ignorance is.

I would agree that the Author of these episodes is not necessarily trying to disprove the existence of God, but rather is out to question all of the religious Dogma and stories that are spoken as if they are factual, without having any real evidence other than self conviction and personal belief, as well as defended by a person lacking in scientific knowledge, or at least it appears that way. To boot, I do think many scientists believe in God, but not religion or the Bible as it is...
As another note, as Wonderr mentioned that that he/she believes in God through his/her own personal experience that they cannot relay through spoken word, but rather by an experience or feeling that cannot be relayed due to the insinuation that a person would have to experience "it" to understand...Actually, I do see this point, but that IS what the definition of faith shows to be as I was taught...
"Faith is a mechanism that allows an individual to irrational hold on
To a belief or belief system, without any supporting evidence so that
The Benefits of that belief of belief system can be realized."
- From an undecided Agnostic...(figure that one out...lol)

The last involving dead souls and parts of God sounded more like cognitive dissonance. Where you are told conflicting ideas and start believing all of it. After that I can get you to believe I'm holding up six fingers.
