I'm a big Top Gear fan. I've seen just about every episode they've made. This was one of their worst however. And, not because this whole show was dedicated to mocking American cars, but because the tests they used and the comparisons they provided were really lame. It's like they were trying to shock America into realizing how poorly their cars perform against Europe's best. The XLR, Viper, Z06, GT, Mustang (GT, Shelby, and Rouche), Escalade, 300C SRT-8, H2, some Buick monstrosity from 1994, and a Prius (because it's the car Jeremy hates most - and yes it's Japanese) were all used as American cars. The M5, Z4 M Roadster, Atom, Extige, and Land Rover were used as European cars. Seriously, who would waste their time comparing the 45k 425HP 300C SRT-8 with the 84K 500HP M5?

top gear fan here as well, but (as Jeremy would say) this piece was in its entirety a hatchet job. throwing in a 4 min praise for the ford gt is the proof that proves the pudding. use the dodge ram, not a chevy 454 ss, then race it vers a atom!?

all respect was lost at that point, what of the impala, as a "saloon" car? the 300c is no match for a bmeer..just distasteful all the way around.

then blows up a HD (old crappy soft tail at that), its as if he was trying to push every button to piss off America. hell i was waiting for him to wipe his ass with the stars and stripes.

really disappointed, you dont have to work all that hard to find fault with U.S. autos..but he did..Mr.Clarkson, you are a bugger of small boys, and your country can never live down the jags entire drive train from the 70/80s...ever.
