Re: Carson Daly Roast: Sarah Silverman
she is bad, most comedians are funny when they insult others, she is just insulting when she "tries" to be funny.

I think she's hot and funny. But, why are they roasting Carson Daly?!? He's not worth the effort!

seriously this self-important bitch is so annoying. Her act will wear thin on you one day too, mark my words! It makes me mad now at how ugly and annoying she's gonna be when she's all in our faces on TV when she's a saggy sixty.

Re: Carson Daly Roast: Sarah Silverman
I'd rather watch SNL than that horrible set again. The only thing that was remotely funny was the Britney/anal joke(I would like to emphasize the remotely part). Everything else was just about as funny as a colonoscopy.
Additionally, I need to second the WTF?! Why the hell are they roasting Carson Daly? Are they that hard up for getting people to agree to sit around while a bunch of comics insult everyone but the actual roastee?

I was wondering the same thing. I had to look a few times to make sure who the roast was for anyway.

I love these roasts for the completely uncouth language and general mean spiritedness. Bringing out the worst in people is a beautiful thing.
Roasts are meant to be an anything goes enviroment. Big stars get to be rude and attack their fellow entertainers' egos. It's like the WFC but with just words.
This kind of humor doesn't have to be the most clever observations. Just needs to generate a chuckle. Certainly works for me most of the time.
Sure, Silverman is no Carlin but the chick is pretty funny. Who cannot love her for the attacks on Britney or Paris? Who cannot respect a woman that says Carolla has oral sex with Kimmel? Or how she attacks christian....The lady goes for it, man.
I think you folks are going overboard with dissing her. She can be a bitch...but that's just part of the fun (act or no act).

Re: Carson Daly Roast: Sarah Silverman
Personally, I don't think she is a bitch. I just don't think she is that funny. She may be "going for it", but what she's going for are largely trite observations that have been done better, elsewhere and with more style and class.
Seriously? Going after Paris? That's like shooting the broad side of door with an uzi. Where is the originality? There is little funny about hearing the same joke retold, in a less funny fashion.
As far as going after Britney, I'm with Craig Ferguson on this one. Let her be. She has some serious issues, both mentally and emotionally. Just let Britney get her shit straight.
Sadly enough, the Britney/anal joke was the only thing that was amusing. Largely in part because it did not make fun of her issues with her abuses or family situation.
