Fairly obviously fake - there is no way he is hitting EVERY one of of those just right so he gets "Perfect" every time. I bet he used a cheat or a bot or something to beat the song perfectly, and then taped his fingers, sped up the video, and inserted the now-speedy video of his fingers into the mirror. Wouldn't be too tough.

Yeah, I looked some more - the fingers in the mirror don't match up at all to the arrows shown on the monitor in the fast parts. Fake.

No, Arch0wl is known in the finger DDR community as quite possibly the greatest player of all time. This is one of his most well-known videos, and me being a player of the game as well, I can see that its obviously not faked. Don't try to degrade this legend just because he's capable of something you're not.

Well it'd be pretty hard by eye to match the fingers in that video to the game. He probably just learnt the song and then practised to get it like that i mean in theory it's possible. It's no different to what a musician does just on a smaller (and less useful... ) scale.

I actually know a few musicians who play this game and they are suprisingly good. Not as good (or possibly as dedicated) as this guy. I say it's real.

useful? i'd say its useful in that its entertaining the performer and the audience. i think thats the goal.
