What?

With the purchase of the mcooki.es domain, link pages can now be addressed with a very short mcooki.es address.

How?

Use the new short URL:

   http://mcooki.es/156862

And it will redirect to the much longer, traditional style URL at:

   http://www.milkandcookies.com/link/156862/detail/

You don't have to remember this, every link page features:

  • Retweet This: a direct link to your Twitter page with the status already filled out for you to edit
  • Short URL: a short URL for you to copy and paste at will

Why?

Short urls are easier to type, are less likely to break in emails, and are perfect for status messages where the number of characters is limited -- like Twitter's 140 character limit.

In the example listed above, the short URL is half the length of the traditional one: 24 characters vs 50!

In Short

Short URLs can be used anywhere a traditionally, longer MilkandCookies.com link URL would be used.
