It seems that the current economic crisis has had it's inevitable impact on MilkandCookies.com, and even yesterdays government bailout was unable to shield us.

At around 4am PST, our server was restarted. Though the site was up, due to some outdated configuration files -- damn you politicians!!! -- the site ran sub-optimally until Jaxon woke up around 10am PST. Hey, it's Saturday, what do you want from me! ;)

Later, after lunch and several coffees, further optimizations were made and everything seems to be back to normal. Next time there is a restart at the lab, these configuration issues should not be a problem.

Thanks to the Main Street peoples of the world, foreigners of America and Hockey Moms! for your patience. No thanks to Wall Street and you fat cats in Washington. Everyone thinks you are need to be changed. Arg!

I'm glad the problems have been solved; it was almost impossible to navigate through the site. As I said in a PM, nothing but Internal Server Errors, and I was constantly being thrown out M&Cs. The experience was similar to wrestling a bull moose in a dense forest. Damn bankers and politicians! We'll burn their houses to the ground. EVERYONE SHALL KNOW THEIR NAMES!

Hehehe, I love that post. Next time I have a server problem, I'm gonna blame the economic crisis. :)
