I agree with both points. However in cases like this, I've had several moderated links taken away from me and my URL was given to the original contributor.

Well, the "original" link had two problems:
it was a content site and it had pop-ups. Perhaps initially the site didn't have pop-ups, and yes, there are a lot of links out there that are content, but I feel like I'm making the right call here, and I've had a lot of coffee...

Never make decisions based on a gut full of coffee. Scotch. A gut full of Scotch is the only way to decide. No if you'll excuse me, I just counted 6 toes on my left foot and I've decided to cut one off with these dull scissors I just found. Toodles!

No matter. I'm glad it turned into a headline for HAW no matter how much I'd prefer to see consistency in the general guidelines here. For the most part, it all comes out in the wash. I mean, haven't we all been beneficiaries of decisions made in our favor as well?

Yeah, that is kind of messed up. Then again, The Flintstones was geared for adults at the time. I think it ran at night back in the 60's. What's really weird is this method of advertising while the show was still going (ie didn't cut to commercial) used to be quite common. I can't imagine that happening with todays shows.
